There is no want in the Religion of God - Quran Chapter 11-24 (Pt-12, Stg-3) (L-1362) - درس قرآن

Quran Chapter 11-24 (Pt-12, Stg-3) (L-1362) - درس قرآن

There is no want in the Religion of God

Surah Huud (Hud) - 11

BisMillaahir-Rahmaanir-Rahiim

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

24.  The similitude of the two parties is as the blind and the deaf; and the seer and the hearer. Are they equal in similitude? Will ye not then reflect (therein)?
24.  Masalul-farii-qayni  kal-‘a’-maa  wal- ‘asammi  wal- basiiri  was-samii’.  Hal  yasta-wi-yaani  masalaa.  ‘Afa-laa  tazak-karuun.

Commentary

The Messenger of Allah Almighty, Muhammad (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) proclaimed about “Oneness of God Almighty” in Makkah and said to the people: Allah Almighty has prescribed for you Islam as your Religion. So you should follow its commands, give up worshipping your self fabricated gods (idols) and abandon old false traditions, and you all should be united at the Path; explained by Islam.

It was a simple Message. If they had admitted it, certainly their lives would have been arranged without blood-shed. But they did not accept it. It was the result that two parties had been produced into them and the Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) was commanded: You should gratify such people who follow you, but continue causing to understand them who are not ready to believe.

It has been commanded in this verse that all people are not equal in using their sense as their physical condition is different from one another. Although there is no want in the Religion of Allah Almighty, but every individual can get from that power so much portion only; which can be accepted by his personal formation. Some of them are such people whose matter is as much faulty that their eyes and ears are not able to accept the power of seeing and hearing. These are the people who remain “the blind and the deaf”.

Like this, the same condition is of the mental powers. Out of them also, every person cannot take full own part due to deficiency in their foundation. Some people are intelligent, whereas some are foolish. Some are those who are given more part of wisdom and vision, but outer impressions are so much effective and powerful that they do not let them work properly. If those outer impressions are removed; then their eyes, ears and sense can work properly. Such people are those who can reap advantage of advice, knowledge and education.

Rightful owners of the Garden - Quran Chapter 11-21 to 23 (Pt-12, Stg-3) (L-1361) - درس قرآن

Quran Chapter 11-21 to 23 (Pt-12, Stg-3) (L-1361) - درس قرآن

Rightful owners of the Garden

Surah Huud (Hud) - 11

BisMillaahir-Rahmaanir-Rahiim

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

21.  Such are they who have lost their souls, and that which they used to invent hath failed them.

22.  Assuredly in the Hereafter they will be the greatest losers.

23.  Lo! Those who believe and do good works and humble themselves before their Lord: such are rightful owners of the Garden; they will abide therein for ever.
21.  ‘Ulaaa-‘ikal-laziina  khasi-ruuu  ‘anfu-sahum  wa  zalla  ‘an-hum-maa  kaanuu  yaf-taruun.

22.  Laa  jarama  ‘anna-hum  fil-‘Aakhirati  humul-  ‘akhsaruun.

23.  ‘Innal-laziina  ‘aamanuu  wa  ‘amilus-saalihaati  wa  ‘akh-batuuu  ‘ilaa  Rabbi-him,  ‘ulaaa-‘ika  ‘As-haabul-Jannah.  Hum  fiihaa  khaa-liduun.

Commentary

‘Akh-batuu – (to be humble, to bring oneself low, to be submissive), the origin of this word is ‘ikh-baatun, which has been derived from khabata. Khabata means “low, mean, at a lower place. ‘Ikh-batun means “to show oneself humble, mean and abject”.

It is commanded that; after looking the apparent pomp and show of this world; these people were pleased. They fulfilled their desires. Its result will be that their life will be entangled in misfortune. Certainly, such people will be in loss more than all others on the Day of Resurrection.

But those people who will spurn accidental things of the world and believe in Allah Almighty, will do good works according to His Commands, accept Him as their Lord and will bow before Him with humble, in the Hereafter, such people will be rightful owners of the Garden and they will abide therein for ever. They are the mankind who saved themselves.

Quran Chapter 11-19 & 20 (Pt-12, Stg-3) (L-1360) - درس قرآن

Shelter in the Hereafter

Surah Huud (Hud) - 11

BisMillaahir-Rahmaanir-Rahiim

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

19.  Who debar (men) from the Way of Allah and would have it crooked, and who are disbelievers in the Hereafter.

20.  Such will not escape in the earth, nor have they any protecting friends beside Allah. For them the torment will be double. They could not bear to hear, and they used not to see.
19.  ‘Allaziina  yasud-duuna  ‘an-  Sabii-Lillaahi  wa  yabguu-nahaa  ‘i-wajaa.  Wa  hum-  bil-  ‘Aakhi-rati  hum  kaafiruun.

20.  ‘Ulaaa-‘ika  lam  yakuu-nuu  mu’-jiziina  fil-‘arzi  wa  maa  kaana  lahum-min-  duu-Nillaahi  min  ‘aw-liyaaa’.  Yuzaa-‘afu  lahumul-‘azaab.  Maa  kaanuu  yas-tatii-‘uunas-sam-‘a  wa  maa  kaanuu  yub-siruun.

Commentary

It is commanded that the people who lied concerning Allah Almighty (God forbid), have been entangled in absurd matters due to forging a lie against Allah Almighty. They had drowned themselves and try to drown others also. They went astray from such Straight Path, which Allah Almighty has appointed for the mankind in this world, because they did not believe in Holy Qur’an. After that, when they insisted upon their reflection, then they began to prevent others too from going straight forward. They give up the Right Path, rush in the crooked streets, and want to drag along others also into them by flattering, deceiving and threatening. The world has charmed them in such a way that they have become unable to think about the Last Day. If someone causes to draw their attention unto this matter, they begin to say about him that he is cunning, a cheat, seeker of celebrity etc.

Then, it is commanded that such people cannot escape. No part of the earth can give them shelter. They can neither tire Us (Allah Almighty) by hiding and running here and there, and nor can We become helpless. Wherever they will go and hide, We shall bring and pull them out. Any protecting friend of theirs cannot save them from Our Hand. For them the torment will be double because they falsify such Invisible Matters which neither have they heard nor seen, as though; hey know very much about them.

Evidence against the falsifiers - Quran Chapter 11-18 (Pt-12, Stg-3) (L-1359) - درس قرآن

Quran Chapter 11-18 (Pt-12, Stg-3) (L-1359) - درس قرآن

Evidence against the falsifiers

Surah Huud (Hud) - 11

BisMillaahir-Rahmaanir-Rahiim

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

18.  Who doeth greater wrong than he who forgeth a lie against Allah? Such will be brought before their Lord, and the witnesses will say: These are they who lied concerning their Lord. Beware! Verily the curse of Allah is upon wrongdoers-
18.  Wa  man  ‘az-lamu  mim-manif-taraa  ‘alAllaahi  kazibaa.  ‘Ulaaa-‘ika  yu’-razuuna  ‘alaa  Rabbihim  wa  ya-quu-lul-‘ash-haadu  haaa-‘ulaaa-‘illaziina  kazabuu  ‘alaa  Rabbi-him.  ‘Alaa  la’-natUllaahi  ‘alaz-zaalimiin,

Commentary

‘If-taraa – (forged), it is past tense from the word ‘if-taraa-‘un. Its inquiry has passed in previous lessons. Here it is required to understand that the aim from the word ’if-taraa is: to forge the occurrences according to pre-planned scheme. The Infidels had made up their mind that they would not let the Islam run. In accordance with such intension, they used to forge a lie in facts, so that they succeed in their scheme. It is called “wrongdoing”.

These people have been denying Islam for keeping in view their worldly benefits, because they see their death if they embrace Islam. Therefore, they do not accept the Truth. It is the worst kind of wrongdoing that the Truth of Holy Qur’an is denied. It means: either they have been determining that Allah Almighty is a liar (God forbid), or that: He has not said that “it is His Word but (let us flee to God) the Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) has forged Qur’an himself and said: it is the Word of Allah Almighty”. In it, they fixed that the Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) was a liar; not Allah Almighty. Whereas His (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) honesty and truth is “Believed and Preserved”. It is included also in the worst kind of wrongdoing.

These are such people who will be produced before Allah Almighty on the Day of Resurrection, and the entire true witnesses will give evidence that “certainly these people falsified the Word of Allah Almighty; therefore, they are the worst kind of wrongdoers”.

After that, Allah Almighty commands: The curse of Allah Almighty is upon those wrongdoers, who lied concerning Allah Almighty, falsified the Truth and wanted to prove the Truth as a lie. Allah Almighty is displeased and dissatisfied from them in the both worlds (this world and the Hereafter).

The Perfect Conductor of entire people is Qur’an - Quran Chapter 11-17 (Pt-12, Stg-3) (L-1358) - درس قرآن

Quran Chapter 11-17 (Pt-12, Stg-3) (L-1358) - درس قرآن

The Perfect Conductor of entire people is Qur’an

Surah Huud (Hud) - 11

BisMillaahir-Rahmaanir-Rahiim

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Commentary

We knew from this verse that Allah Almighty, Who is Lord of the mankind, has bestowed many physical powers and of the brain to the human being, so that he should choose the Right Path of life for himself by using power of the brain, but his sense is entangled mostly in the confusion of absurd ideas and superstitions, and the Open Way is not visible to him. Apparent ostentation of the world conceal it from him and his faculty or power, by which external objects are perceived, (sense) continue struggling in the darkness. For making the sense to understand about the Right Path in such darkness, his Cherisher (Allah Almighty) has kept a specific Light in him; which exist, more or less, in every human being.

The person, who does not take effect from apparent glittering things of the world and goes straight forward being saved from its contaminations, into him, this Light shows its splendor, and then the Right Path appears in such Light before his sense, which Allah Almighty has determined for the mankind, and the name of which is “The Natural Religion”. This Light exists in every human being naturally. If the human sense has been covered due to the love with the world; then this Light lies concealed behind the screen. The Right Path is not seen to the sense and the mankind goes astray.

But that individual begins to see the Correct Path; in whom this Light works properly. For his help, Allah Almighty has sent His last Messenger; Muhammad (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) along with His last Word; Holy Qur’an. For the same purpose, Messenger Moses (peace be upon him) was sent before him (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him), but now, summary of Torah and all other Scriptures revealed before it, has been recorded in Holy Qur’an. Therefore, all those persons who have inner Light; get everything in this Holy Book in full detail; which is visible to them in the Light of their sense. So they put belief in it immediately and fix it as their Guide. Mercy of God Almighty descends on them.

It is known clearly from this verse that the Perfect Conductor of the entire clans of the world i.e. the Jews, the Christians, the Arabs, the Magi, the Foreigners and the Idolaters, is Holy Qur’an, at this time. The person, who will refuse the Holy Qur’an, cannot obtain deliverance, whether he belongs to any class of the world. It is possible that he prospers temporarily in the world, but when he will die, then he will possess nothing beside repentance and woe. He will not be able to answer his actual God, The Most High, on the Day of Resurrection. If he had used his sense correctly then he would have been saved from the doom on that Day. But he fell under adversity, so he will weep on that Day.

Declining by someone cannot be cause of doubt in the Truth - Quran Chapter 11-17 (Pt-12, Stg-3) (L-1357) - درس قرآن

Quran Chapter 11-17 (Pt-12, Stg-3) (L-1357) - درس قرآن

Declining by someone cannot be cause of doubt in the Truth

Surah Huud (Hud) - 11

BisMillaahir-Rahmaanir-Rahiim

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

17.  Is he (to be counted equal with them) who relieth on a clear proof from his Lord, and a witness from Him reciteth it, and before it was the Book of Moses, a guide and a mercy? Such believe therein, and whoso disbelieveth therein of the clans, the Fire is his appointed place. So be not thou in doubt concerning it. Lo! It is the Truth from thy Lord; but most of mankind believe not.
17.  ‘A-faman  kaana  ‘alaa  Bayyi-na-tim-mir-Rabbi-hii  wa  yat-luuhu  Shaa-hidum-min-hu  wa  min  qablihii  Kitaabu  Muusaaa  ‘imaa-manw-wa  rah-mah.  ‘Ulaaa-‘ika  yu’-mi-nuuna  bih.  Wa  many-yak-fur  bihii  minal-  ‘Ah-zaabi  fannaaru  maw-‘idah.  Falaa  taku  fii  mir-ya-tim-minh.  ‘Innahul-Haqqu  mir-Rabbika  wa  laakinna  ‘aksa-rannaasi  laa  yu’-minuun.

Commentary

Bayyi-na-tin – (A clear Proof), it is an adjective from the word “Bayyan. Bayyan means “pure, clear, revealed, open, visible”. Bayyinatun means “a bright and clear sign or path”. Here it aims “human nature”.

Yat-luu – (to follow), the origin of this word is til-wun. Til-wun means “to go with and follow someone”. Here it aims “It confirms and strengthens that”.

‘Imaa-mun – (a guide); any person or thing; which guides others and that is an example for all. Here it aims “a spiritual guide”.

It is commanded that you heard the circumstances of those who fall in love with the world. Behold now also unto that person who sees (by internal Light; given by his Lord) a clear path of life. Then; he is bestowed with a magnificent Book like Holy Qur’an. After that, he observes that the Heavenly Books too, in which; Torah of Prophet Moses (peace be upon him) is the most prominent in guidance and human compassion, commands unto the same path.

From these observances, he gets certainty that only Holy Qur’an is such Book which desires to direct the mankind in accord with human nature, and he puts his faith in it, and passes his life according to its Instructions.

But from the other people, which groups will not believe in Holy Qur’an; their appointed place will be “the Fire”. So O Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him)! Declining by any person cannot be cause of doubt in the Truth of Holy Qur’an. You should say to the people that they should purify their hearts from the doubts and hold fast the Commands of Holy Qur’an.

Worldly life is only of a few days - Quran Chapter 11-15 & 16 (Pt-12, Stg-3) (L-1356) - درس قرآن

Quran Chapter 11-15 & 16 (Pt-12, Stg-3) (L-1356) - درس قرآن

Worldly life is only of a few days

Surah Huud (Hud) - 11

BisMillaahir-Rahmaanir-Rahiim

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Commentary

What can someone cause to understand any individual more than that which has been explained in the previous verses? After that, there is an extreme need of meditation by reciting the Holy Qur’an again and again, and summary of those advices should be placed in the heart; which have been mentioned in it, so that the form of dressing the life is produced, otherwise; there is nothing at the end save ruin and destruction.

Holy Qur’an has been informing that worldly life of the mankind is only of a few days, and it has been given to the human being for the purpose that he should be ready for that real life which will start after death. This world is a place of examination, in which; both kinds of things (useful and harmful) have been spread duly mixed up, and the mankind have been caused to know by means of the Messengers and Prophets (peace be upon them); that they should never consider that; “this (worldly) life is their real life”, and it should not be fixed as own aim. It is only a wonderful sort of reflection of the real life, in which; those things appear attractive before ordinary people; form of which is nothing but stir, restlessness, serpents, scorpions and the Fire in the real Life. The person who will run behind the things towards which; his sight attracts, to him; those things will be provided in the same attractive artificial form, and if it would be possible, he will reap advantage fully from them. But as soon as he will die, those things will be changed in their original form; and he will see that it was mass of fire, which does not have any quality save burning and giving pain.

The person who obeyed the commands of Holy Qur’an, comprehended the reality of those things and understood that attraction of those things is a deception, he prevented himself from inclining unto them, and he turned his attention to such things which are conspicuous here in the form of restraint from wishes and abstinence, and those things will be apparent there in the form of pleasure and ease, he passed the test and his real life will be dressed.

One more thing which is known from these verses, is that; abstinence, God-fearing and prevention from desires etc. are however; good things. But their benefit will appear in the life of Hereafter; only in such form; if these will be adopted for acquiring pleasure of Allah Almighty purely. If it would be for any other purpose beside the pleasure of Allah Almighty, then it will not be useful in the Hereafter, where the standard of the success will be only that how much a person performed good works for the sake of Allah Almighty. Which good works would have been done for any other purpose, their retaliation and advantage will be given only in this world according to one’s luck, and they will get nothing in the Hereafter. Such people will be told: For which purpose you became pious; that was fulfilled during your worldly life. Now; there is nothing for you, however, in the form of your abstinence, which you adopted in the world, here the Fire is. Therefore they will be thrown into the Fire.

Portion of own deeds in the Hereafter - Quran Chapter 11-15 & 16 (Pt-12, Stg-3) (L-1355) - درس قرآن

Quran Chapter 11-15 & 16 (Pt-12, Stg-3) (L-1355) - درس قرآن

Portion of own deeds in the Hereafter

Surah Huud (Hud) - 11

BisMillaahir-Rahmaanir-Rahiim

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

15.  Whoso desireth the life of the world and its pomp, We shall repay them their deeds herein, and therein they will not be wronged.

16.  Those are they for whom is naught in the Hereafter save the Fire, and (all) that they contrive here is vain and (all) that they are wont to do is fruitless.
15.  Man-  kaana  yurii-dul-Ha-yaatad-Dunyaa  wa  ziina-tahaa  Nu-waffi  ‘ilay-him  ‘a’-maala-hum  fiihaa  wa  hum  fiihaa  laa  yub-kha-suun.

16.  ‘Ulaaa-‘ikal-laziina  laysa  lahum  fil-‘Aakhirati  ‘illan-Naar.  Wa  habita  maa  sana-‘uu  fiihaa  wa  baatilum-maa  kaanuu  ya’-maluun.

Commentary

Nu-waffi – (We shall repay), this word is from taw-fi-yatun, actually which is to-waffii and derived from the word wa-faatun.

Laa  yub-kha-suun – (will not be wronged), it is from ba-kha-sun, which means “to harm, to damage, to lessen”.

Habita – (is vain, finished, washed, thrown away), it is a past tense from the word hab-tun, which means “to be useless, to be misapplied”.

It was manifested with proof in the previous verses that Holy Qur’an is the Word of Allah Almighty, so it became compulsory that it should be recited with understanding; and whatsoever has been commanded in it; that should be obeyed. These are the meanings of Islam, but sense of maximum people has been covered with greediness and lust. Florid styles of the world ensnare and attract them unto themselves. Resultantly, they begin to consider that “everything is the life of this world only”. Such people have been warned in this verse that they should hear by opening their ears. Now they cannot say that Holy Qur’an is not the Word of God Almighty, but it is the Word of any mankind. Notwithstanding it, if someone does not follow its commands and considers that only the worldly life is everything, and he falls in love with arrangements, elegance, provisions and wealth of the world, and he is engaged in collecting them day and night, then he will be provided full retaliation of his efforts in the world. Power, celebrity, wealth and property of which scale can be given to a mankind, will be given to him, but in the Hereafter; there is nothing for him save “the Fire”.

Quran Chapter 11-14 (Pt-12, Stg-3) (L-1354) - درس قرآن

Those who failed to keep their hearts’ satisfied

Surah Huud (Hud) - 11

BisMillaahir-Rahmaanir-Rahiim

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

14.  But if they do not answer you, then know that it is revealed only with the Knowledge of Allah; and that there is no God save Him. Will ye then be (of) those who surrender?
14.  Fa-‘illam  yasta-jiibuu  la-kum  fa’-lamuuu  ‘anna-maaa  ‘unzila  bi-‘ilMillaahi  wa  ‘allaaa  ‘ilaaha  ‘illaa  Huu.  Fahal  ‘an-tum-Musli-muun.

Commentary

‘illam – (if not), actually these are two words – ‘in and lam. ‘In means “if” and lam means “not”. In Holy Qur’an, these both words are written jointly and “n” of ‘in is dropped.

Yasta-jiibuu – this complete word is yasta-jiibuun, but due to the word before it “lam”, “n” has been dropped. Its origin is ‘istajaabah, which has come out from jawaab. Jawaab means “answer”. ‘istajaabah means “to say, to obey, to accept that what is commanded”. This word was discussed in Surah ‘Al-Baqarah.

It is commanded that if they may not do so, then it is clear that “This is not the Word of any mankind”. After it, what can be said more save it that it is a Manifestation of the rare Knowledge of Allah Almighty, and He has sent this Holy Word unto His last Messenger; Muhammad (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) by means of Divine Revelation (Wahii).

While it is the Word of His Own and revealed with His Knowledge, then verily, Its every verse is quite right and true. It has been commanded in it that “there is none equal to Allah Almighty, so only He is the Worshipped and God of all, because by connecting these all matters, no any other result comes out beside it. When it has been cleared; then how do you dispute in obeying His Command? Why do you not believe in Him and do not bow your heads before His Orders?

The Truth is that you should recite repeatedly the Holy Qur’an and understand its meanings. And you should obey whatsoever it says, then behold! How your worldly life becomes neat and clean, pure from evil and clamor, free from woe and affliction, and full of ease and relief, and after death; in what manner you are bestowed with happiness, how much rewards are given to you?

The history witnesses that those people who surrendered, they performed and showed that which could not be done by any other nation till today. Those who disbelieved and disobeyed; they were ruined, but who escaped; failed to keep their hearts’ satisfied.

Quran Chapter 11-13 (Pt-12, Stg-3) (L-1353) - درس قرآن

Certainly Muhammad is God’s last Apostle

Surah Huud (Hud) - 11

BisMillaahir-Rahmaanir-Rahiim

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

13.  Or do they say: He hath forged it. Say: Then bring ten Surahs, the like thereof, forged, and call on everyone ye can beside Allah, if ye are truthful!
13.  ‘Am  yaquu-luunaf-taraah.  Qul  fa’-tuu  bi-‘ashri  Suwarim-mislihii  muftara-yaatinw-wad-‘uu  manis-tata’-tum-min-  duu-Nillaahi  ‘in  kuntum  saadiqiin.

Commentary

Muftara-yaatin – (forged), this word is plural of muf-taraah, which is an adjective and feminine of muftaraa. It is from ‘iftaraa’, origin of which is faraya. Faraya means “cutting and clipping in accordance with own will”. ‘Iftaraa’ means “forging any new thing after thinking”.

It was described in the verse before it that they allege falsely for believing not in Muhammad as Messenger of Allah Almighty (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him), that “while He does neither have a treasure nor any angel is with Him; then how should we believe that He is Messenger of Allah Almighty (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him)”?

When Qur’an is produced before them that It is the Word of Allah Almighty and it is the biggest portent of His Messenger-hood, then they say: He has forged it Himself (God forbid) by contriving from right and left.

The unbelievers of the Arab have been addressed in this verse: As you are Arabians also and you are claimant that you have the best language, then you should bring (not the whole but) only ten Chapters as of Qur’an. If it is not possible for you to do so; you can collect all intelligent people for help in this matter. Moreover, you can get support of all those whom you have chosen as your deities beside Allah Almighty, if they are able to help you.

If you really consider that it has been forged by Muhammad (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) himself, then why do you delay? You should try your best to forge ten Surahs, the like thereof, leaving all other works. If any mankind can make such Word then you will also make, otherwise; your objection is false; from which; nothing can be acquired.

In Holy Qur’an, this suspicion of the disbelievers and its reply has been repeated again and again in different styles. In the beginning, it was said: If you do not believe that It is the Word of Allah Almighty, show such Word by forging yourselves. After that, it was described: OK. If you cannot bring all, then bring ten Surahs, the like thereof, forged by you, as it has been mentioned in this verse. Then in Surah ‘Al-Baqarah and Surah Younus, it was asked: Bring only one Surah like this, forged by you. But they did not have any reply to this.

God increases the spirit of the Messenger - Quran Chapter 11-12 (Pt-12, Stg-3) (L-1352) - درس قرآن

Quran Chapter 11-12 (Pt-12, Stg-3) (L-1352) - درس قرآن

God increases the spirit of the Messenger

Surah Huud (Hud) - 11

BisMillaahir-Rahmaanir-Rahiim

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

12.  A likely thing, that thou wouldst forsake aught of that which hath been revealed unto thee, and that thy breast should be straitened for it, because they say: Why hath not a treasure been sent down for him, or an angel come with him? Thou art but a Warner. And Allah is in charge of all things.
12.  Fala-’allaka  taari-kum-ba’-za  maa  yuu-haaa  ‘ilay-ka  wa  zaaa-‘iqum-  bihii  sadruka  ‘any-yaquu-luu  law-laaa  ‘unzila  ‘alay-hi  kunzun  ‘aw  jaaa-‘a  ma-‘a-huu  malak.  ‘Inna-maaa  ‘anta  naziir.  Wallaahu  ‘alaa  kulli  shay-‘inw-Wakiil.

Commentary

Wakiilun – (in charge, having legal power), this word is an adjective, which has come out from wakala. Wakala means “to commit to charge, to entrust, to deliver over”. The words “wakaalat, tawakkal. Mu-‘akkal” etc. have also been derived from the same. Wakiil is the person who is committed to charge a case, one vested with authority or power.

In the world, last Messenger and Prophet of God Almighty is Muhammad (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) and His last Word (Book) is Holy Qur’an. When He (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) was born in the world, at that time, every powerful person was devouring the weak. Oppressive people criticized the Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) and said: If you will give up censuring our way of life, we shall never disturb you.

It has been caused to understand the Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) in this verse: Qur’aan says the Truth, and it is your duty that you should deliver its commands to all; as these are, otherwise the Truth will not remain in its original form. And which these people say: We would have believed in it that you were a Messenger of Allah Almighty (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) if you would have brought down a treasure for yourself, or an angel would have come with you. Being empty-handed and without splendor, you cannot influence over any individual.

Allah Almighty gives spirit to His Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) in these words: You should not suffer from inferiority complex due to such sayings of those people. Your Lord has bestowed the highest rank of the mankind to you and appointed you His Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him), so that you should warn the people that if they will disobey the commands of Allah Almighty, His doom will come on them. It is in His Divine Power that He appoints His Messenger (peace be upon him) to whom He desires, because everything is in His power and possession. He organizes and causes to run the systems of the entire universe; in the form; He considers suitable.

Ignorance and meanness - Quran Chapter 11-10&11 (Pt-12, Stg-3) (L-1351) - درس قرآن

Quran Chapter 11-10&11 (Pt-12, Stg-3) (L-1351) - درس قرآن

Ignorance and meanness

Surah Huud (Hud) - 11

BisMillaahir-Rahmaanir-Rahiim

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

10.  And if We cause him to taste grace after some misfortune that had befallen him, he saith: The ills have gone from me. Lo! He is exultant, boastful-

11.  Save those who persevere and do good works. Theirs will be forgiveness and a great reward.
10.  Wa  la-‘in  ‘azaq-Naahu  na’-maaa-‘a  ba’-da  zarraaa-‘a  mas-sat-hu  la-yaquu-lanna  zahabas-sayyi-‘aatu  ‘annii.  ‘Innahuu  lafarihun-  fakhuur.

11.  ‘Illal-laziina  sabaruu  wa  ‘amilus—saali-haat.  ‘Ulaaa-‘ika  lahum-mag-firatunw-wa  ‘ajrun-  Kabiir.

Commentary

It is commanded that when misfortune is removed and prosperity comes, at that time, the human being loses his senses and says: Now the time is of taste and pleasure. The ills and difficulties have gone from me. I have gotten rid of confusions, because I worked hard, earned wealth and suffered from pains. It is my right which have I received.

On one side, being much confused due to any very ordinary trouble, saying words of despair, turning away from Allah Almighty, and on the other side; being overjoyed at the time of pleasure and ease, boasting, exulting, and considering that “it is the result of my cleverness”, are common matters in the mankind. But from this all; his ignorance appears and meanness is disclosed.

It is known clearly that these both matters does not suit to the mankind, but have been tumbled down from his grade. The human being should never let his dignity; perseverance and endurance lose in any condition. He should neither be distressed in mind during ills and nor lose his senses during prosperity. Suitable manner for him is that he should push steadily on against difficulty or opposition. He should do the same works during both conditions i.e. misfortune and prosperity; which suit to his grade and dignity; and about which the wise people say “good works”. Errors and slipping of such people will be forgiven, and for them; there will be satisfaction of the heart in the world and a great reward in the next life.
