God has neglected nothing in the Book (of His Decrees)

Lesson # 711 From Holy Qur’aan

God has neglected nothing in the Book (of His Decrees)

Surah ‘Al-‘An-‘aam (Cattle) – Chapter – 6)–Stage - 2

Verse – 38 of 165, Section – 4 of 20 (Part - 7)

BisMIllaahir-Rahmaanir-Rahiim

In the name of Allaah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

And there is not a moving animal in the earth, nor a flying creature flying on two wings, but they are genera like unto you. We have neglected nothing in the Book (of Our Decrees); then unto their Lord they will be gathered.
Wa  maa  min-  daaab-batin-  fil-‘arzi  wa  laa  taaa-‘iriny-yatiiru  bi-janaahayhi  ‘illaaa  ‘umamun  ‘amsaalukum.  Maa  farratnaa  fil-Kitaabi  min-shay-‘in  summa  ‘ilaa  Rabbihim  yuhsharuun.

Lesson

Asking for any portent from the Messenger of Allaah Almighty (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon Him) by the idolaters of Makkah did not mean that really they are desirous of believing. But they wished that the portent of any such peculiar thing should be demanded, from fulfilling which, the Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon Him) may become helpless and give up preaching of Islam, so that they may live their own way of life, of which they had been addicted, and enjoy reveling according to their desires.

It was commanded in the previous verses: O Messenger! Do not hope that they will believe by observing the open portent. Their purpose is that they may keep anyhow their present condition up i.e. idol-worshipping, infidelity and disbelieving. Demanding a portent is only for evading, otherwise, those Revelations are sufficient for the wise people, which We have revealed. There is no need of more clear portents than them. Many of them do not understand this matter, but there are enough signs in the verse of today’s lesson for those people, who wish to understand.

It is commanded that there are hundreds kinds of creature like moving animals in the earth, flying creature flying on two wings in the air and the creature of the sea. Every creature of them is as such nation, as human beings. We have established separate principles of living in the world for every kind of nation. And We have neglected nothing in the Book (of Our Decrees). At the end, they entire will be gathered unto their Lord Almighty. He will treat them in the manner, which will be the demand of His Wisdom and Mercy.

It can be understood from this discussion that a separate way of living has been established in the world for every nation of the creatures. How much sense is required for understanding that particular way for any particular nation, has been given by Allaah Almighty. That sense is sufficient to know those portents.

Likewise, according to this rule such Revelations, Tokens and Portents have also been established for human being, which can be known by the mankind’s wisdom and sense easily, and a man can go straight way by observing them. These people demand rare portents, for instance; they say: Cause to flow a spring before us by tearing the land, or Rise on the sky in front of our eyes, bring down a Book from there and put It before us etc.

The sense and wisdom stands useless in their recognition. Making the sense useless is against the human nature. Portents are revealed in every age in accordance with the improvement of human wisdom. Present time is the most improved time of human sense, so the portents have been sent down according to it.
