Commentary
It is commanded: O Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace
be upon him)! You should bow down before Allaah Almighty, The Immortal, and
trust in Him Who completed the creation of this spacious system of the heavens
and the earth in a long duration gradually. You can say that it was done within
Six Days, but the measurement of those Days cannot be calculated according to
the times of this world. Foundation of the time of this world depends on the
sun and the moon. But the heavens and the earth were created before them. The Day
of those times will be determined equal to one thousand years and sometime
fifty thousand years according to the present days.
After creating these entire things, Allaah Almighty mounted
the Throne, which is called “Arsh”. This all is Manifestation of His
kindness and He is the most Merciful. If you desire to know Allaah
Almighty, you should ask from that who knows Him. These idolaters do not know
The Beneficent. When they are instructed to bow down before The Beneficent,
they say: What is The Beneficent? Should we adore Him concerning Whom you {O Muhammad
(grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him)} bid us?
Aversion of these ignorant people increases more when the name
of The Beneficent is spoken before them and they get one more evasion of denial
that you have given up Allaah and now one other God has created. It is nothing
but your own commandment.
(After reciting or hearing this verse, one should bow down
before Allaah Almighty).
