Quran Chapter 28: Summary (Pt-20, Stg-5) (L-2461) درس قرآن

Abstract of this Surah

Chapter Qasas”- (The Story) - 28

‘A-‘uu-zu  Billaahiminash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.
(I seek refuge in Allaah from Satan the outcast)

Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.

(In the name of Allaah, the Beneficent, the Merciful)

This Chapter teaches us that while the feet of God’s obedient slaves do not tremble due to great afflictions, then how they can be confused by little troubles. They have patience when their enemies molest them. Apparently it seems in the world that by tyrannies of the oppressors, the weak and helpless people will be suppressed, because no supporter of them is known in observance who may have them released from tyrants. But when violence of the oppressors increases and crosses the limit, and the condition of weak people becomes bashful, then Mercy of The Lord of the Worlds, Who is the Guard of the world and the Protector of its system, gets excited. And He makes arrangement of Unseen help for the oppressed. The story of Pharaoh and the Children of Israel provides its proof.

The Children of Israel were innocent. They migrated from Syria and reached Egypt in the times of Joseph (peace be upon him). He had served Egypt sincerely by his management and arranged to save this Country from endurance of hunger during famine; spread in the entire world. Moreover he made it able to help also other Countries. After that, when the people of Coptic tribe got power and the Empire of Pharaoh was established, then they forgot the record of stirring deeds performed by Joseph (peace be upon him), considering that the Children of Israel were foreigners, they began to molest and oppress them excessively.

Ultimately, Allaah Almighty appointed Moses (peace be upon him) as His Prophet and sent him for causing to understand Pharaoh. But Pharaoh rejected him and got ready to annoy him also. Moses (peace be upon him) organized the Children of Israel secretly and taught them turning towards Allaah Almighty. Consequently, Allaah Almighty arranged to bring forth Moses (peace be upon him) along with the Children of Israel across the river and Pharaoh was drowned in the river.

The Idolaters of Makkah also used to tease the Muslims like them. After hearing this story their courage increased. Muhammad, the Messenger of Allaah Almighty (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) instructed them to have patience and caused to understand the Infidels that they should not tyrannize the Muslims; otherwise they also would be destroyed like Pharaoh and his people. When they did not refrain, then he (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) commanded the Muslims that they should leave Makkah. And he (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) also reached Madinah along with them. Allaah Almighty assured him (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) in this Chapter that he will return home very soon as a conqueror. The Muslims have been advised here that brotherhood does not depend on native land and race. Actual brotherhood is that; foundation of which is on Oneness of God and abstinence. The people, who have good moral character and who obey the Commands of Allaah Almighty, are brothers of one another. Those, who are of good character, cannot accompany the immoral. Leave the immoral and harmonize with the virtuous. Believers are Spiritual Guides of all in doing good works. They should dwell in the world in such manner that other people also become pious after looking them.
