Quran Chapter 33: Review (Pt-22, Stg-5) (L-2625) درس قرآن

A brief on Chapter thirty three

Chapter ’Al-‘Ahzaab” - (The Clans) - 33

‘A-‘uu-zu  Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.
(I seek refuge in Allaah from Satan the outcast)

Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.

(In the name of Allaah, the Beneficent, the Merciful)

Chapter ‘Al-Ahzaab (The Clans) causes us to learn that the mankind is not - only good or only bad like other creatures. As ability of being good exists in him, like this he can become bad also. He has made a covenant with Allaah Almighty that he will obey His Commandments, and follow the Rules and Regulations prescribed by Him. He has promised that if he did wrong, he would have to undergo punishment. It is the reason that he has not power to determine a way of practice for himself and make Law according to his will. The Law made by Allaah Almighty is ready for him to dwell under its prescribed terms. If he opposed that Law, would be punished.

Some compulsory Articles of that Law have been described in this Chapter. It has been explained in this Surah that adopted son cannot become your real son; as breast of anybody does not have two hearts. Like this, there cannot be two fathers or two mothers of any individual. Regarding mutual relationships of the mankind, it is commanded: The Messenger of Allaah Almighty (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) is as closer to you as nearer than your life. His wives (May Allaah be pleased with them) are mothers of the Believers.

Conduct of the Hypocrites has been censured in the Battle of Trench, which is called “the Battle of the Clans” also. The wives (May Allaah be pleased with them) of the Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) have been given authority that they would have to pass their lives with care if they desire to live in the house of the Prophet (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him). A great reward is ready for them in the Hereafter. But they cannot live at the house of Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) if they desire the world.

Then it was commanded: The wives (May Allaah be pleased with them) of the Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) should dwell in the house. Suppose if they have to go abroad for fulfilling any requirement, they should draw their cloaks close round them, so that the immoral people may not have any chance of annoying them. Muslim women should follow the wives (May Allaah be pleased with them) of the Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) in this matter.

The Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) has been set free from ordinary house-keeping rules, so that he may preach about religious matters easily. The people have been taught etiquettes of visiting the houses of others. Stress has been laid on them that they should send blessing on the Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) and salute him with a worthy salutation. And at the end, it has been cleared that the mankind has undertaken to bear it that he would abide by the Commandments of Allaah Almighty; otherwise he would have to suffer the punishment.

This covenant is a Trust, and every mankind should be keeper and protector of it. The person, who will not care for it, will deserve punishment.
