Clear Tokens of The Omnipotent

Chapter “SABAA’” - (Saba) - 34

‘A-‘uu-zu  Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.

 (I seek refuge in Allaah from Satan the outcast)

Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.
(In the name of Allaah, the Beneficent, the Merciful)

 إِن نَّشَأْ نَخْسِفْ بِهِمُ ٱلْأَرْضَ أَوْ نُسْقِطْ عَلَيْهِمْ كِسَفًا مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَءَايَةً لِّكُلِّ عَبْدٍ مُّنِيبٍ 9b

                                       

9b.  If We will, We can make the earth swallow them, or cause a portion of the sky to fall on them. Lo! herein surely is a Portent for every slave who turneth (to Allah repentant.

9b.  ‘In-Nasha’  Nakhsif  bihimul- ‘arza  ‘aw  Nusqit  ‘alayhim  kisafam-minas-samaaa’.  ‘Inna  fii  zaalika  la-‘Aayatal-likulli  ‘abdim-muniib.

Commentary

The human beings have been reprimanded in this verse due to their boldness and rudeness that why they consider it so much difficult that they would be brought back to life again after death and that; it is not in the Divine Power of Allaah Almighty. Do they not see before and behind themselves; the heaven and the earth spread all around? Whence have these come and Who is their Creator? They say unhesitatingly that Allaah created them, but they do not guess correctly concerning His Power and Omnipotence. It can be known easily if they think awhile that the things come in existence and are destroyed in this vast space. Most of the things come out from the earth and are removed. The mankind also is a creature like other things. What particular difficulty is in his producing, deteriorating and reproducing which cannot be removed? Do they not fear Allaah Almighty that they deny arrogantly the birth of the mankind again after death? If Allaah Almighty will, He can cause the earth to swallow them or let fall upon them fragments from the sky, and they all be bruised below those fragments. It is sufficient to guess about the Divine Power of Allaah Almighty from producing, deteriorating and reproducing of things in the heaven and in the earth.

The main considerable point is this that sometimes they praise to Allaah Almighty, but heartily they do not bow towards Him, otherwise they can see clear Tokens of His Omnipotence in the heaven and the earth.
