Commentary
It is commanded: The Day of Resurrection will surely come because the people who believed in Allaah Almighty and did good works according to His Will, it is compulsory that good retribution should be given to them. These are the people for whom is forgiveness, pardon, reward and noble provision in the Sight of Allaah Almighty, that is to say, great blessings will be bestowed upon them without working hard, in a state of ease and comfort, because they continued obedience of Allaah Almighty during their worldly life, and controlled their desires in accordance with the Commands of Allaah Almighty. Now they will be caused to sit with respect and all such things will be provided to them by which they will feel themselves easy.
But the people, who passed their lives in the world trying to falsify the Revelations of Allaah Almighty, practising against His Commandments and showing by their words and deeds that (God forbid); Allaah Almighty can never harm them in any case, theirs will be a painful doom of wrath. The Day of Judgment is necessary for the purpose that the people who used their sense properly in the world and did good works, they should be bestowed with good reward of their good deeds, so that they may see with their eyes that Commandments mentioned in Holy Qur’an were entirely true which used to explain about the prescribed Path of Allaah Almighty.
