Retaliation in the
Hereafter
Chapter “SABAA’” - (Saba) - 34
‘A-‘uu-zu Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.
(I seek refuge in Allaah
from Satan the outcast)
Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.
(In the name of Allaah, the Beneficent, the Merciful)

لَا يَعْزُبُ عَنْهُ مِثْقَالُ ذَرَّةٍ فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَلَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَلَآ أَصْغَرُ مِن ذَٰلِكَ وَلَآ أَكْبَرُ إِلَّا فِى كِتَٰبٍ مُّبِينٍ 3b لِّيَجْزِىَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ 4a
|
3b. Not an atom’s
weight, or less than that or greater, escapeth Him in the heavens or in the
earth, but it is in a Clear Record.-
4a. That He may reward
those who believe and do good works.

3b. Laa ya’-zubu
‘anHu misqaalu zarratin
fis-samaa-waati wa laa
fil-‘arzi wa laaa
‘asgaru min zaalika
wa laaa ‘akbaru
‘illaa fii Kitaabim-Mubiin.
4a.
Liyaj-ziyallaziina
‘aamanuu wa ‘amilus-saalihaat.

Commentary
Laa ya’-zubu – (is
not absent), this word has come out from “’azuubatun”, which means “to
be separated”. Here it aims “to disappear”.
Allaah Almighty knows all such things which are out of our sight and
we are unable to know about them by our apparent senses. It is the reason that
we become ready to deny them.
It is commanded: Nothing is unapparent from the Knowledge of Allaah
Almighty. He knows every such thing which exists in the heavens or in the earth;
whether that is only a particle or little than it or greater than it. Everything
has been recorded in a Clear Register. The Knower of the Unseen has commanded
to His Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him): Say to the
people by taking Our Oath that the Day of Judgment shall come. You are
convinced yourselves that Our Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be
upon him) does never tell a lie. It has also been proved by clear evidence that
whatever he (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) speaks; is entirely
true. Then why do you not listen to him? Behold! Coming of the Day of
Resurrection is incumbent because Allaah Almighty desires to give good
retribution to those who believed in Him and after having belief in Him they
did good works; and make them rich with His blessings. It is requirement of His
Management that the mankind should believe in Allaah Almighty and do
good works in worldly life for attaining its good fruit in the Hereafter.
