Useful Belief in the Hereafter - Quran Chapter 19 – Summary (Pt-16, Stg-4) (L-1964) درس قرآن

Quran Chapter 19  Summary (Pt-16, Stg-4) (L-1964) درس قرآن

Useful Belief in the Hereafter

Chapter Maryam (Mary) – 19

‘A-‘uu-zu  Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.
(I seek refuge in God from Satan the outcast)

Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.
(In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful)

In this Chapter, the attention of mankind has been drawn unto a matter that sometimes Kindness of God Almighty appears in such a way that any perfect believer of Allah Almighty turns his attention only to Him; ignoring reasons and causes, and he applies his entire spirit and inclination for invoking before God Almighty. When Prophet Zachariah (peace be upon him) prayed for a son as it, then he was bestowed, and those conditions which were necessary with regard to effects of reasons, were run over from the middle. Sometimes it happens that ordinary condition of the world asks by its existing state; in the service of God Almighty with earnestness that creation of any great adviser is necessary for the betterment of the mankind. At that time, Mercy of Allah Almighty attends to its petition and arranges to produce the great adviser from the Unseen, then ordinary conditions are not required, as Jesus (peace be upon him) was born from the womb of Mary (peace be upon her) without father.

Therefore the mankind should consider that Omnipotence of Allah Almighty has been overcoming in each condition upon them even after using the worldly sources too. When he will understand these matters thoroughly then he will come to know the secrets of punishment, reward, life after death, resurrection, a spreading, heaven, hell and many Unseen news. And it will be found out that the entire reasons and causes in the world have been proceeding unto such direction that these all matters should happen. But sometimes Mercy or Power of Allah Almighty breaks also any ring from the rings of causes and reasons due to any expedience. That has been described as “Spiritual powers are triumphant over the natural powers, so one should not be entangled in the materiality only. But attention should be turned unto the spiritual powers, source of which is Mercy and Power of Allah Almighty. Among those spiritual powers, one power is perfect belief of the mankind, turning his attention unto Allah Almighty and considering that His Power is victorious and dignified over all powers.

It has been caused to understand in the same Chapter that the last commandment is in the Grip of God Almighty. Whatsoever the mankind has been doing in the world, its end will be that after death; he will be reproduced and his deeds will be counted out, and those entire things, which used to prevent him from having belief in Allah Almighty, will be gathered and presented before him, and he will be informed that these are not of use for him at this time.

At that time, belief in Allah Almighty only will be useful and only those deeds will be helpful; which he did according to the commandments of God’s Prophets (peace be upon them) and His Scriptures.

The end of those who disbelieved

Chapter Maryam (Mary) – 19

‘A-‘uu-zu  Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.
(I seek refuge in God from Satan the outcast)

Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.
(In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful)

96.  Lo! Those who believed and did good works, the Beneficent will appoint for them love.

97.  And We have made (this Scripture) easy in thy tongue, (O Muhammad) only that thou mayst bear good tidings therewith unto those who ward off (evil), and warn therewith the froward folk.

98.  And how many a generation before them have We destroyed! Canst thou (Muhammad) see a single man of them, or hear from them the slightest sound?

(Section 6)

(Part One – Half)

Commentary

Rikzan – (slightest sound), any such trivial voice, by which it may be proved that someone else exists in neighborhood.

After annihilating self-fabricated; baseless faiths and false thoughts of the mankind, now there is mention about those who have belief according to the guidance of Allah Almighty and His Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him), that who minded God Almighty, the Messenger and Holy Qur’an, believed in Them and who were firm on Their commandments, Allah Almighty will love them, put their love in the hearts of the Angels (peace be upon them), produce kindness and humanity among themselves mutually, and will establish their greatness and love in the hearts of common people.

Then it is being commanded to the Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him): We have made this Holy Qur’an easy by revealing it in your own language, so that you should cause to hear good tidings to those people who avoid committing evils due to fear of God Almighty, and warn such people who quarrel with you due to stubbornness only. They should be caused to understand that they should not be proud of their wealth and honor. Before them, many a generation, who used to consider themselves of great dignity and grandeur, We have destroyed them, because they did not care Our commandments. Now their names and signs have been removed from the world.

Commentary

To be children is reason of necessity. The Beneficent is not necessitous of anything. In the heavens and the earth, every living being has been created by Him and is obedient of Him. He is Lord of all of them, whereas any father is never lord of his son. But the son is always equal to his father in rank and dignity in every respect. Moreover, he exceeds from his father in power and strength, even in knowledge and understanding too in process of time. And such time comes that the father becomes old and feeble, and he depends entirely on his son. With the children, conception of all these matters is incumbent. Allah Almighty, the Beneficent is Free from all such matters. He has numbered everything like -ages, strengths, necessities and weaknesses of His slaves separately; and enumeration of His slaves also has been recorded with Him one by one correctly. Everything will be finished on a Day and only Allah Almighty shall be saved.

After that, again His Glory of Omnipotence will appear afresh and the entire living beings will be brought to life by His Commandment. And they all will be standing before Him separately fastening their hands. And He will reward or punish to every individual according to their deeds. And no one can claim that he is equal of Him. Then what does it mean that He has children?

Commentary

‘Iddun – (disastrous, calamitous, grave), in Arabic language, any great misfortune is called ‘iddun. Its plural is ‘idawun.

Takhiru – (falling), this word has come out from khirrun, which means “to fall all at once”. Past tense of the same is kharra, which has passed in Suratul-‘A’raaf.

Haddun – (the heavy body which when falls, a sound is heard, that is called “haddun). We say it “to fall in ruins”.

Some people say that God Almighty has children, and it is the right of the children that they should be included in the rank and dignity of the father. Being entangled in this misunderstanding, they begin to say about any great mankind that he or she is son or daughter of God. Then they begin to worship him/her. Concerning it, it is commanded that this is such terrible idea that if Allah Almighty would not be Kind and Merciful, then at the spot; almost the heavens would have been torn, and the earth would have been split asunder and the mountains would have fallen in ruins.

Allah Almighty, Who is the Beneficent, and before Whom the entire universe has been adoring, He is entirely Free from having children and helpers. Children are required to only those needy and feeble people who can do nothing without support of others or during old age they become indigent of other people. Allah Almighty is Pure from all such weaknesses.

‘Azzun – (to induce, to excite, to persuade)

It is commanded: The people who do not believe in Allah Almighty, the devils are appointed upon them, who excite them every time for evil deeds. Allah Almighty has given them respite and their every sigh, every moment will be completed by counting out till the fixed time. You should not make haste in their matter. They will be punished due to their doing wrong on a Day. And that will be such Day that in the world, those people who passed their worldly life with God’s fear, He will gather them unto Himself like His guests. But fearless evildoers will be driven unto the Hell. And like thirsty animals; they will run towards the wharf of the Hell. Permission of intercession will be given only to God’s chosen servants. And they will intercede for only those people who are Believers.

Commentary

Has he acquired information about the Unseen matters by peeping? Or has he made any strong pact with Allah Almighty? If nothing has happened from the above then you should say to him: Refrain from this obstinacy. God Almighty has been recording your entire baseless sayings. A span of torment upon you will be enhanced after your death due to retaliation of your such sayings. And you will leave behind your entire wealth and children in this world which you mention by behaving with boastfulness; and these all things will be under His Possession. And you will be standing alone in His Court.

Such kind of people have done more wonders that they have chosen many more gods beside Allah Almighty and they consider that they will be their protectors, and if they suffered from any affliction then chosen gods would save them. Behold! It will never happen and contrary to this; your so-called gods will become your enemies. And which you used to worship them, they will deny clearly from them.
