Lesson

When Prophet Lot (peace be upon Him) said to the people of Sodom: You commit abomination such as no creature ever did before you. It seems that they would not have understood about; what have they wronged? As though; this evil had become so public into them that they had lost this perception that it was an evil.

Therefore, Lot (peace be upon Him) had to explain it. But He (peace be upon Him) thought: How can I explain it, because while this evil was never committed earlier, then it is manifest that the words for this evil had not been in use. Suppose! if even the words for it did exist, it could not be in the power of any decent man to describe about such disgusting thing in straight words with the tongue.

Prophet Lot (peace be upon Him) did not know that nature of those people had been distorted so badly that they were unable to understand the depravity of this worst evil with simply indication. It was incumbent to cause to know them because He (peace be upon Him) was commanded by Allah Almighty to do so.

Being helpless, Lot (peace be upon Him) said to those evil spirit people: At the time of ardor of the natural desire of copulation, for fulfilling of which with natural way, you had to see the woman, whereas you commit sexual intercourse with the men like you (sodomy). It is breach of the default rule and getting out of the limit of humanity. Its result can be nothing but ruin and destruction.

That individual, who goes out by breaking the limits of human nature, he is his own assassin, being his end bad, is necessary and a prerequisite. Have you lost entirely your senses that you commit such indecent, filthy and cluttered works? Committing such evil is just like tyrannizing upon the human genealogy, cutting its root and finishing the train of Adam (peace be upon Him), for whom, these entire things have been created. Thus committing so, against the desire of entire creatures’ Creator, is rebelling against Allah Almighty.

If this happens, then it is not possible that any individual may live more after breaking the Command of God, the Holy One. The first stroke of this unclean spirit work affects the domestic life badly. While the man would not desire his wife, then surely, her looking after and warm reception would be different. First of all, their children would not be born, however, if their children are born, full attention would not be given on their fostering and education.

Secondly, it is not known that; what the wife will do in reaction of her husband’s dis-regard, being broken hearted, due to which, they will lose each other. Certainly, this evil can be cause of destruction and removal of the human race, and it is equal to the collection of many major sins due to their relationship. And it is the biggest calamity that wherever this evil begins, it spreads very fast. God Almighty protect us from this disobedience and grant us His Guidance to live according to His Will.
