Quran Chapter 30: 58 to 60 (Pt-21, Stg-5) (L-2535) درس قرآن

Let not the disbelievers make you impatient

Chapter RUUM”- (The Romans) - 30

‘A-‘uu-zu  Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.
(I seek refuge in Allaah from Satan the outcast)

Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.

(In the name of Allaah, the Beneficent, the Merciful)

58.  And verily We have coined for mankind in this Qur’an all kinds of similitudes; and indeed if thou comest unto them with a miracle, those who disbelieve would verily exclaim: Ye are but tricksters!

59.  Thus doth Allah seal the hearts of those who know not.

60.  So have patience (O Muhammad)! Allah’s Promise is the very Truth, and let not those who have no certainty make thee impatient.
58.  Wa  laqad  zarabNaa  lin-naasi  fii  haazal-QUR-‘AANI  min  kulli  masal.  Wa  la-‘in  ji’-tahum  bi-‘Aayatil-laya-quulan-nalla-ziina  kafaruuu  ‘in  ‘antum  ‘illaa  mubtiluun.

59.  Kazaalika  yatba-‘Ullaahu  ‘alaa  quluubil-laziina  laa  ya’-lamuun.

60.  Fasbir  ‘inna  Wa’-dAllaahi  Haqqunw-wa  laa  yasta-khif-fannakal-laziina  laa  yuuqinuun.

Commentary

ZarabNaa – (We have coined, We have presented), it is in Past Tense from the word zarbun, which has been used at many places, and which is meant also “to fix a thing at its proper pace due to suitableness”.

It is commanded: We have caused the mankind to understand in this Qur’an concerning the matters useful for him; by describing examples and proofs of various sorts. He should remember it that opportunity of understanding these matters and acting upon them is only in this world. If he wasted this time in useless matters, plays and games, then for him; there will be no form of deliverance.

Alas! These people have been losing this chance. Whether you bring forth so much clear proofs and miracles before them, they will say constantly: These people, that is to say, The Muslims and their Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) are tricksters who fabricate a lie; in which there is no truth. Allaah Almighty seals the hearts of those who do not use their sense properly, and they are unable to understand the Truth.

However, O Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) and the Muslims: You should have patience, keep your footing on your Religion and invite the people towards the Straight Path continually. Certainly the Promise of Allaah Almighty shall be fulfilled. You should perform your duty steadily. Behold! You should be careful, so that they may not mislead you who do not have belief. At last they will win who have strong belief.
