Disobedience of Allah is cause of
destruction
Chapter “YAA-SIIIN” - (YASIN) - 36
‘A-‘uu-zu Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.
(I seek refuge in Allaah
from Satan the outcast)
Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.
(In the name of Allaah, the Beneficent, the Merciful)

فَقَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّآ إِلَيْكُم مُّرْسَلُونَ 14b قَالُوا۟ مَآ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُنَا وَمَآ أَنزَلَ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ مِن شَىْءٍ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا تَكْذِبُونَ 15

14b. and they said: Lo!
we have been sent unto you.
15. They said: Ye are
but mortals like us; and the Beneficent hath naught revealed; ye do but lie!

14b. faqaaluuu ‘innaaa
‘ilaykum-mursaluun.
15. Qaaluu maaa
‘antum ‘illaa basharum-mislunaa, wa
maaa ‘anzalar-Rahmaanu min
shay-‘in, ‘in ‘antum
‘illaa takzibuun.

Commentary
Being involved in the world, most of the people forget Allaah
Almighty, and it remained their behavior not only now but always. For shaking
them from the dream of negligence, Allaah Almighty sent His Prophets
(peace be upon them) from time to time in human history, whose duty was to draw
the attention of human beings towards Allaah Almighty and describe them:
Disobedience of Allaah Almighty is cause of destruction for the mankind.
They (peace be upon them) used to explain before them by causing to hear them
circumstances of ancient people that those from them who were careless from Allaah
Almighty, their end was very terrible. But even then the people did not
believe. Accordingly, two Prophets (peace be upon them) were sent towards the
people of the City mentioned in the previous verse, but they slighted them.
Then another Prophet was sent for strengthening the two (peace be upon them).
It is commanded: Those three Prophets (peace be upon them) said
to the people collectively: We have been sent by Allaah Almighty towards
you. We don’t say anything ourselves. We have to convey that Message to you;
for which Allaah Almighty has appointed us. The people of the City said:
You are unable to do something wonderful, so you have not been sent by Allaah
Almighty. You are not but human beings like us.
We don’t listen to you. You all three men have plotted mutually and fabricated
a lie. And you desire to make it current in the name of Allaah Almighty.
Give up telling a lie! We shall not follow you.
