Hajj - To visit a place of Pilgrimage

Chapter “Hajj” – (The Pilgrimage) - 22

‘A-‘uu-zu  Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim. 
(I seek refuge in Allaah from Satan the outcast)

Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.
(In the name of Allaah, the Beneficent, the Merciful)

    ٱلَّذِينَ إِذَا ذُكِرَ ٱللَّهُ وَجِلَتْ قُلُوبُهُمْ وَٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ عَلَىٰ مَآ أَصَابَهُمْ وَٱلْمُقِيمِى ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ وَمِمَّا رَزَقْنَٰهُمْ يُنفِقُونَ 35

35.  Whose hearts fear when Allah is mentioned, and the Patient of whatever may befall them, and those who establish worship and who spend of that We have bestowed on them.

35.  ‘Allaziina  ‘izaa  zukirAllaahu  wajilat  quluubuhum  was-Saabiriina  ‘alaa  maaa  ‘asaabahum  wal-muqiimis-Salaati,  wa  mimmaa  razaqNaahum  yunfiquun.

Commentary

Entire words of this verse have passed in the previous verses. In the verse before this, it was commanded: We have appointed a ritual for every nation, so that they may mention the name of Allah over the beast of cattle at the time of their slaughtering, which We have given them. The people should sacrifice some cattle on Our name. It is incumbent for the mankind that he should do the work as Allaah Almighty has commanded.

Then it was commanded to the Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him): Give good tidings to those people who bow before Allaah Almighty with humility. In this verse, Signs of those people have been disclosed who deserve the title of “the humble people”.

It is commanded: These are the people who turn their attention unto Allaah Almighty as soon as they hear His mention and their hearts begin to tremble by the reflection of His Greatness, Glory and Omnipotence.

They comply with His entire Commandments, have patience during afflictions and establish worship regularly. They do never delay in performing good works and spend a portion of their wealth and property; which Allaah Almighty has bestowed on them; for acquiring His willingness. And it is spent as the Messenger of Allaah Almighty (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) has fixed according to the Guidance of Allaah Almighty, that is to say; they give Alms, sacrifice their cattle, perform the Pilgrimage and help the needy people financially.
